The Stevens Center address below can be put into into Google Maps or your preferred satellite navigation system to make your journey much easier:

Note: Traffic in Winston-Salem nearer to the Stevens Center is known to be busier around times of major events. Please allow plenty of time to arrive, park and walk to the entrance.

Stevens Center is located on 405 4th St NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Guests who are planning on driving to the venue should arrive no later than 45 minutes before the event to allow plenty of time to find parking.

The following are driving instructions that will get you to the neighborhood.

Traveling from the East 

  1. Take Business 40 to US-52 North. 
  2. Exit Martin Luther King Boulevard traveling west and turn left onto Martin Luther King Boulevard 
  3. Take Martin Luther King Boulevard to turn left onto University Parkway/Marshall Street South 
  4. Turn right onto Fourth Street 
  5. There is a new option to park in the deck on Poplar Street between Fourth and 4 ½ Streets. 
  6. Street parking also is an option along Fourth Street west of the Stevens Center and nearby intersecting streets 
  7. The Stevens Center is located at 405West Fourth Street, 27101 

Traveling from the North 

  1. Take US-52 South 
  2. Exit onto Martin Luther King Boulevard traveling west 
  3. Take Martin Luther King Boulevard and turn left onto University Parkway/Marshall Street South 
  4. Turn right onto Fourth Street 
  5. There is a new option to park in the deck on Poplar Street between Fourth and 4 ½ Streets. 
  6. Street parking also an option along Fourth Street west of the Stevens Center and nearby intersecting streets 
  7. The Stevens Center is located at 405West Fourth Street, 27101 

* Please note that University Parkway is also a prominent thoroughfare into downtown and leads you directly to Fourth Street and the Stevens Center.

Traveling from the West 

  1. Take 421 or Business 40 to the western edge of downtown and take the Peters Creek Parkway exit 
  2. Turn right onto Peters Creek Parkway traveling toward downtown 
  3. Follow signs toward Second Street 
  4. Turn left onto Broad Street 
  5. Turn right onto Fourth Street 
  6. There is a new option to park in the deck on Poplar Street between Fourth and 4 ½ Streets. 
  7. Street parking also is an option along Fourth Street west of the Stevens Center and nearby intersecting streets 
  8. The Stevens Center is located at 405West Fourth Street, 27101 

Traveling from the South 

  1. Take US-52 North to Research Parkway at the Twin Arches 
  2. After the exit turn left onto Research Parkway traveling north toward downtown 
  3. Take Research Parkway to Fourth Street and turn left onto Fourth Street 
  4. There is a new option to park in the deck on Poplar Street between Fourth and 4 ½ Streets. 
  5. Street parking also an option along Fourth Street west of the Stevens Center and nearby intersecting streets 
  6. The Stevens Center is located at 405West Fourth Street, 27101 

*Please note that either Broad Street or Main street are other options to travel from southern Winston-Salem to the Stevens Center/Fourth Street area downtown. Although many of the bridges crossing over Business 40 are closed, Broad Street (two way)and Main Street (which is one way for Northbound traffic) do allow you to cross over the Business 40 construction.
Handicapped patrons may use the drop-off lane in front of the building. Please be aware there is no long-term parking directly in front of the Stevens Center.
